About RPA

What is Robotic Process Automation?

Robotic process automation (RPA) is a suite of technologies that automates repetitive experience-based or rules-based tasks by mimicking how humans interact with computer systems or other humans. RPA tools can be combined with other automation tools, AI, and machine learning technologies to increase the scope and simplify the complexity of automated tasks.

The robots in RPA are software scripts that automate Decision Making and Communication over other software, that are operated at the user interface level, mimicking human keystrokes and clicks. RPA systems are developed by simply recording a user’s actions as they perform the task. And the software system repeats those tasks directly in the user interface. The tasks span various business functions and users across internal and external eco-systems.

How Robotic Process Automation can benefit a business?

RPA software is easy to operate and integrate. Many department departments can benefit from it in various use cases, including customer service, for instance, by verifying e-signatures or collecting customer feedback. Supply chain management can benefit from automated procurement, automated planning or scheduling, order process payments, and assets management among many more. RPA can assist or entirely replace routine and error-prone tasks. It aims to improve efficiency and productivity, lower costs, and free employees, allowing them to focus on higher-value work.
